This is where the mountain glacier waters of Iceland meet the farmlands. I remember seeing the light was getting good from really far away and just praying I would make it in time. Luckily sunsets last for ages in Iceland. Once I arrived my first instinct was to head for the usually shot but all of the colour in the sky was happening in the opposite direction. Instead I ran in behind the waterfall and set up my shot to include the setting sun. This was one of the more difficult shots I have taken because the spray from the waterfall was soaking the camera and me. I had to constantly wipe my lens to get a clean clear shot. I ended up using my hat in between shots to cover the lens. I came out of there ringing the water from my clothes.
