It was late, around 2am when the sky started to light up with Aurora. Out in this area you don’t have any cell service so I had no idea or warning that Aurora might be possible. You could imagine my excitement when I started to see the lights dance across the sky. I spent a couple hours earlier scouting compositions and quickly ran to this vantage point from earlier. There is something about all of the layers that jumped out at me and once the Aurora came to the party it just turned… magical.
