It was our first day in Provence and we’d just found our first row of lavender, this little white house tucked at the end of it — one of only two days that whole trip with any cloud in the sky. I remember the scent of lavender filling the air, the hum of bees, the heat of the sun on my skin — it was the kind of moment I’d been dreaming about for years, and it kicked off an incredible week.
It was our first day in Provence and we found our first row of lavender. This little white house is another famous spot for photographers. I rely thinking it was smaller than imagined. Nevertheless the scene was perfect. This was one of only 2 days that we had clouds in the sky. It was such an amazing feeling being in a place I had been dreaming of visiting for years. My scenes were fully engaged, the scent of lavender filled the air, the sound of bees created a sort of white noise, I could feel the heat from the sun pouring down on me. It was an exciting moment that kicked off the incredible week ahead.
